Let’s be honest—2025 feels like the perfect year to go all in on travel. After so much unpredictability in recent years, I’ve built up a serious bucket list. From postcard-perfect beaches to hidden mountain towns, these are the 15 places I’m absolutely dying to visit this year.
And of course… I’m keeping things budget-friendly 😏💸
1. Albanian Riviera
Greece’s lesser-known neighbor with turquoise beaches, cliffside towns, and meals under $10. Ksamil, I’m coming for you!
2. Sri Lanka
Jungles, elephants, surf towns, and budget trains with million-dollar views? Yes, please.
3. Georgia (The Country)
For real—$2 bottles of wine, snowy peaks, warm hospitality, and Tbilisi’s mix of old and new. What’s not to love?
4. Mexico City
Street tacos, colonial vibes, ancient ruins, and the coolest Airbnb lofts under $40/night. I’ll never be over this place.
5. Vietnam (Central Region)
Hoi An lanterns, Da Nang beaches, and dreamy budget hostels. This place feels like magic on a $ 20-a-day budget.
6. Portugal’s Azores
Volcanic islands in the middle of the Atlantic. Green cliffs. Hot springs. Cozy cottages. Still affordable if you go soon.
7. South Korea
Seoul's street food, cute cafés, K-drama neighborhoods, and budget-friendly high-speed trains. Let's gooo.
8. Morocco
Riding camels in the Sahara, sipping mint tea in colorful riads, wandering the medina in Fez. An absolute dream (and surprisingly cheap).
9. Bosnia & Herzegovina
Mostar’s bridge, waterfalls, mountains, and the fact that no one is talking about how gorgeous (and budget-friendly) it is.
10. Philippines
Island hopping in El Nido, snorkeling in turquoise lagoons, and budget beachfront stays. Yes to all of it.
🌟 Final Thoughts
Some of these destinations are remote. Others are surprisingly close. But every single one of them can be explored without blowing your savings. 2025 is all about going big and going smart.
